What Every Room Carries
Whether it's a team of twelve or a larger event, the people in the room are carrying something. Most talks, most events, talk about that weight. I help the room set it down.
I lead experiential sessions and keynotes for groups who carry secondary trauma in their work. Not a lecture about burnout, but a shared experience where people learn, in their own bodies, how secondary trauma affects them, moves through them, and how it's meant to move out.
I've Lived the Work
I work as an emergency room physician who practices Somatic Experiencing® — so I speak to the biology plainly: why the body holds what it holds after a hard shift, a hard case, a hard week, and what actually lets it release.
Resilience Isn't a Mindset
Resilience is physiological. It lives in the nervous system — not the mind, not the to-do list.
Resilience is often handed to people as something to solve — a list of things to do, to optimize, to push through. That is not resilience. In these sessions, a room gets to put down the work of figuring it out and experience what their bodies already know how to do.
Carry It Together
For your team
An experiential session with your whole team, in the room together.
The group learns — in their own bodies — how to let hard days move through instead of settling in. They leave with a small set of practices that fold into the rhythm of the real workday. Less carried home, more carried together.
Best for
Healthcare teams, social work teams, and any group where people absorb the human cost of serving others side by side.
An Hour They'll Feel
For your event
A keynote or experiential session for your conference or gathering.
An interactive, experiential session. Your audience doesn't just applaud — they feel it. Regardless of the profession or background of the people you're hosting, collectively they will learn and experience how secondary trauma moves, and leave with something physiological they can actually implement in their day-to-day lives. This is the kind of session people are still practicing in the days ahead.
Best for
Conference hosts, event organizers, and anyone programming for an audience where the human cost of the work is real.
Let's Start a Conversation
